Falcons Football Displays Tenacity!

huddle

Friday night’s Varsity Falcons Football game turned into an “instant classic” against the Marietta Blue Devils! Although the game did not go as planned for the Falcons, they displayed intense moxie against a tough Blue Devils team. The Falcons withstood a 7-6 lead at the half. They then managed to keep a 20-18 lead in the 4th quarter with only 3 minutes left in regulation. The Blue Devils managed to score a touchdown off of a quick screen pass on their last drive of the game. With only 10 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, the Falcons could not manage to score another touchdown in the red zone for the win, making the final score of the game 24-20. However, the Falcons gutsy performance was one for the ages! With last night’s loss, the Falcons are now 1-2 and will face Berkmar High School on Friday, September 15th at 7:30pm in Patriot’s Stadium. Please come out and support your Falcons!
