The Pebblebrook Varsity Boys Track team wrapped-up a successful second day at the Region 2-7A meet this past Saturday. The team competed well, breaking 3 school records, and earned a third place finish as a result of some great individual and team performances.

 

The following team members qualified to advance to the Section Meet:

  • Kibren Moore won 1st place in the 100M and 200M dashes. He set a new school record in the 100M with a winning time of 10.69.
  • Decovin Norwood advanced to the Section Meet with a 3rd place finish in the 110M hurdles and 2nd place finish in the 300M hurdles.
  • Tiante Goodgame advanced to the Section Meet with a 3rd place finish in the 400M dash.
  • Justin Swann advanced to the Section Meet with a 2nd place finish in the 1600M run.
  • Christian Swann advanced to the Section Meet with a 2nd place finish in the triple jump. He set a new school record with a jump of 45 feet 2 inches.
  • Michael Collins advanced to the Section Meet with a 4th place finish in the shot put.
  • The 4x100M relay team of Tiante Goodgame, Christian Swann, Michael Collins and Kibren Moore advanced to the Section Meet with a 2nd place finish.
  • The 4x400M relay team of Christian Swann, Nelson Gardner, Kibren Moore and Decovin Moore advanced to the Section Meet with a 2nd place finish. The team set a new school record with a time of 3:23.14.

This Saturday the PHS Boys Track Team will have 7 members participating in 10 events with state championship meet spots on the line.
